(2013) open rp post

permanent open rp post
new year, new post.
❧ select one of my characters (or one that you know I play but isn't on the list)
❧ leave a prompt: pictures work best; lyrics, scenarios of your own creation, etc.
❧ reply as many times as you want.
❧ the apocalypse finally happens.
❧ please note that I am extremely backtag friendly and will be backtagging these threads until the cows come home. and I'm always really eager to do things even if this post is found months after it's posted. also lol sometimes i may take a bit to get to them since some characters are harder for me to think up things and require some canon review! sorry for the wait, i'll make you a vegemite sandwich in the interim.

Something tells me civilised isn't in your vocabulary, Benny. But if it's the only way you'll have a conversation with me, then we'll do it your way. [ her face twists slightly, morphing into something akin to unamused anger. if he pulls this card, she'll simply pull the ace up her sleeve prematurely. ]
[ katherine doesn't move to compel the man in her lap and set him free. he's a trapped bird within her cage and she has no intentions of letting him go. instead, the fingers splayed on his neck move to the thick of his dark hair, entangling in there, gripping hard as she yanks his head up. opening her mouth, her fangs descend, the veins popping around her darkened eyes. she's about to take a bite of him before she glances up at benny. ]
You're sure you won't join me?

As if on command she decides to up the stakes. Makes it about a hundred times worst by offering it up to him. Living in a nest meant you hunted and fed together with those of your own kind. Though their means of trapping folks was a little less conventional. Being a pirate gave you the ability to isolate and to disappear without a trace if you needed to. You could devour a whole crew of people and then be gone before anyone even noticed the newly abandoned ship. Usually the bodies could just be dumped into the water or just kept at the bottom of the boat until somebody found it drifting. It never really mattered much to him. ]
Katherine--[ It's almost like he's pleading with her to stop, but he can't back it up because he's moving towards her. Slowly, but he's getting there. He drops to one knee in front of her and stares hard at the man. Every ounce of self restraint he worked so hard to cultivate is fleeing him. He looks up at her once last time. ] I hate you. [ His head drops and his teeth sink into one side of the man's neck. ]

[ there's something satisfying in breaking a man's tough resolve — but a part of katherine wishes he had fought harder. the fight is more fun than the chase. but she has a feeling that benny will be back for another round of fighting his inner urges, and she'll be there to coax it out of him. ]
[ her grip on the man disappears as she practically drops him to benny, no longer supporting him, no longer teasing him with the offer of food and drawing it away with his approach. ] Drink up, Benny. Something tells me you're not going to enjoy this in the morning.
